To know and appreciate the culture of Rapa Nui is important to conduct a series of tours within and outside the town of Hanga Roa, its attractions are around the whole island, you can move around in regular service or private guides.

The sightseeing tours are guided by an English or Spanish guide. Please make sure you request in advance for German, French, Japanese or Italian guide if available.
Note: Park tickets are not included in the tour rates.

Regular Bus tours and Private tours
Half Day Tour Orongo
Leaving the hotel between 9:00 and 9:30 in the morning you will visit the crater of Rano Kau volcano continue to the ceremonial village of Orongo where the story of the birdman took place, you then continue to the temple of Vinapu and the last place to visit is Ana Kai tangata Cave.
Excursion Time about 3 to 3.5 hrs Approximately.
Half Day Tour Ahu Akivi
Leaving the hotel you first visit the Ahu Akivi temple with the Seven Statues continue to Puna Pau quarry where the hats are made with red stones (called Pukao). Continuing in the nearby area you also visit the Te Pahu Caves.
Excursion Time about 3 to 3.5 hrs Approximately
Full Day Tour Anakena (Box lunch)
Leaving from your hotel you will start your visit at Vaihu, Akahanga, Rano Raraku where all the statues were carved. Ahu Tongariki, Te Pito Kuru and Finally ahu Nau-Nau at Anakena Beach. After having lunch and a swim in the clear wates of Anakena Beach you will continue to the final stop your respective hotel.
Excursion Time about 6.5 to 7.0 hrs Approximately.
Private tours provide a jeep vehicle with an experienced guide also following the same routes of tours except you arrange the time with your tour guide at your own convenience.
When you arrange your round trip airport transfer to hotel with us, after you draw your luggage after exiting the terminal a person waits for you outside with a sign with your name and welcomes you with flower lei. They will then handle your bags and transfers you to your hotel.
Horseback Riding Tours/ There are two options of tours to choose from
This tour includes roundtrip transfer from hotel to the ranch and back.
Ana Kakeenga: Cavern with small entrance and spacious interior ending on a cliff side with two windows and overlooking the ocean and the isle of Motu Tautara.
Second stop Ana Tepahu: Lava tube that was used as refuge during tribal wars. This caverns 65 Mts. long approximately.
Ahu Akivi: Ceremonial Platform of the seven statues that represents the first explores that arrive on the island in search of an Island for Hotu Matua king. This Platform was reconstructed by the American archeologist William Mulloy in 1960.
Maunga Roiho: Overlooking from hill top scenery parts of the Island.
Maunga Terevaka: Ride to the highest point of the island, going through Ahu Akivi taking a trail up to the volcanic crater with a lagoon covered in Totora reeds called Rano Aroi and continue to the highest point of the island Maunga Terevaka(560-580 Mts. Aprox) after enjoying the view resting and taking photos we return to the village of Hanga Roa.
Rent a Car
Most Jeeps rented on the island has manual shift. If you would like a larger vehicle you can request for a Van or truck these types of vehicles can also be found; If you don't drive you can hire a chauffeur.
The jeeps are very clean and accommodates comfortably 4 people maybe 5 if child. Types of jeep are mostly Honda, Hyundai Renault, Terios, and Jimmy.

Boat excursion will only go out to the ocean if conditions are good, for the winter months most of the boat tours don't go out unless the weather permits. Transfer to the sailing point is included
Boat tours are 3.0 to 3.5 hrs. aprox.
Leaving from Hanga Piko bay you will follow the direction toward the cliffs of Rano Kau, sailing along the shores you can admire the breathtaking natural formations of numerous caverns along the coast of Iorana hotel. Continuing from there around the cliffs of Rano Kau you will come to a sudden view of the spectacular isles of Motu iti, Motu Nui and Motu Kao Kao to your left is the surround cliffs of Orongo village best known for its place of the birdmen's completion.
The boat navigates around the three Isles and here you will witness the beautiful baby and dark blue salt waters of the island. The path of the sailing is also known the area of fishing for our Natives Rapa Nui.
Boat excursion same conditions apply, will only go out to the ocean if conditions are good, for the winter months most of the boat tours don't go out unless the weather permits. Transfer to the location of the fishing boat sailing out point is included. The fishing areas are approximately about 1 to 2 miles of shores.
Fishing tours are 3.0 to 4.0 hrs. aprox.
